This is a fantastic lunch or side dish.
1 – 1/2 lbs of brussels sprouts or 1 bag of shredded brussels sprouts
3 Tbls coconut oil
2 strips Turkey bacon
1 Tbls spoon poppy seeds
1 large shallot (optional)
Sea salt and pepper to taste
If using whole brussels sprouts, use food processor with a slicing disc.
In a large skillet, brown turkey bacon in oil.
Add shallot (optional). Sauté for 3 – 5 minutes
Add brussels sprouts and poppy seeds. Saute for 7 -10 minutes. Until brussels sprouts are a vibrant green color.
